About Security First Credit Union
Founded as Hidalgo Federal Credit Union, Security First Credit Union received its charter on February 24, 1947, in Pharr, Texas.
The member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative credit union is headquartered with an administration building and branch in Edinburg, Texas.
Renamed Security First Credit Union in 2000, it later merged with First Financial Community Credit Union in June 2009.
