About Responders Emergency Services Credit Union

Responders Emergency Services Credit Union was originally organized in Spokane, Washington, in 1966 as Spokane Police Credit Union.

The institution became Spokane Law Enforcement Credit Union in the mid-1990s before adopting its current name in 2017 to serve broader first-responder communities.

Operating as a member-owned cooperative focused on first responders and their families, RESCU expanded by opening a second branch in Post Falls in 2024.
