About Meritus Credit Union
Founded in 1954 as Lafayette Parish Teachers Federal Credit Union, Meritus Credit Union is a member-owned federally chartered credit union.
The credit union adopted the name Meritus Credit Union in 2018 after receiving a community charter in 2014 and operates four Acadiana locations.
