About Members First Community CU

Members First Community Credit Union is a member-owned cooperative chartered in February 1954 and based in Quincy, Illinois.

Originally organized as Quincy Chapter Credit Union, it was formed by directors of local credit unions in Adams, Brown, Pike, and Schuyler counties who could not borrow from their own institutions.

Over time, several company credit unions merged into a unified community charter, which now serves around 7,000 members across two locations.

It has been a certified Community Development Financial Institution since 2014 and a Low-Income Designated Credit Union since the early 1990s.
