About Solon State Bank
Solon State Bank opened in 1932 when local citizens raised $30,000 in capital through stock sales to area residents.
After outgrowing facilities at Main and Dubuque Streets, the bank relocated across the intersection in 1955 and moved to Highway 1 in 1974.
The bank expanded by opening a branch in Tiffin in 1997 and purchasing an Ely branch in 1999, operating three full-service locations.
