About Henderson Federal Savings Bank
Henderson Federal Savings Bank was chartered by the State of Texas in 1929 as Henderson Building and Loan Association to offer local investors savings returns and help citizens buy homes.
The association received FSLIC insurance and changed its name to Henderson Federal Savings and Loan Association in 1934, then joined the Federal Home Loan Bank Board in 1937.
Today, the community-owned and operated institution continues to maintain residential mortgage lending as its primary lending business.
