About MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union

Founded in 1936 as Bibb Teachers Federal Credit Union by two Bibb County school principals, the credit union was established to provide better banking services for educators.

The institution rebranded to MidSouth Federal Credit Union in 1996 and adopted the name MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union in 2010 to reflect its expanded 13-county service area.

Today, the member-owned financial cooperative operates eight branch locations across Baldwin, Bibb, and Houston counties in Middle Georgia.
