About First Bank

First Bank was established in 1906 as Creve Coeur Farmer's Bank to help residents of a small farming community near St. Louis reach their financial goals.

The bank became Creve Coeur Bank, then First Missouri Bank in 1973, and assumed its current name, First Bank, in 1986.

Independently and family-owned across four generations of Dierberg family leadership, the bank operates 80 retail locations across Missouri, California, and Illinois, with mortgage services extending into Nebraska and Kansas.

The bank launched the Center for Family-Owned Businesses to provide tailored resources and financial solutions specifically for family-owned and privately-held businesses.
